Explore Pleasant Street Bar & Grill

Dakjjang is a spot in Puebla that feels both lively and welcoming, located at Blvd. Xonacatepec Edificio A, Bosques de San Sebastián, 72310 Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, Pue., Mexico, and it stands out for combining flavorful food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere in a way that makes people want to return. One of the first things that catches my attention about Dakjjang is how warm the experience sounds from the moment you arrive: the staff are known for being especially kind and attentive, creating an easygoing environment that makes dining there feel comfortable rather than rushed, even though the kitchen is impressively fast. For anyone who dislikes waiting too long for a meal, that quick service is part of the appeal, and the same efficiency carries over to their delivery option, which has also earned a strong reputation. The menu seems to offer a satisfying variety of both food and drinks, giving guests plenty of choices whether they want a casual snack, a full meal, or something to pair with their order. The fried chicken appears to be one of the biggest highlights, praised for being especially delicious, and the different sauce options add even more personality to the experience, with flavors like honey mustard, honey butter, barbecue, and Korean-style sauce bringing a mix of sweet, savory, and bold notes. The setting also adds charm, since Dakjjang is described as cozy and inviting, with touches that make the visit feel fun as well as tasty, including board games for guests to enjoy and even a swing table that gives the space a playful character. Another detail that makes it appealing is the accessible pricing, which helps explain why it leaves such a positive impression as a place where good quality, generous flavor, and a welcoming mood all come together around crispy chicken, varied drinks, quick attention, and a casual space made for lingering over food and conversation.

Great friendly old-school townie bar. Can't beat the prices - $6 for a mixed drink that generally goes for $12-$15.

Classic local watering hole. Very typical bar food, no tremendous variety. Service is pleasant and consistent, beer is inexpensive; it's generally a good place to be.

Nice cool spot for drinks and quick eats. Chicken tenders fries and onion rings are awesomely delicious. Karaoke on Wednesday and Thursday nights are fantastic!!! They make a fantastic rum passion. So good!!!

Wednesday and Thursday night Karaoke with Jim Gagnon is so much fun. Some decent singer and a wide variety of characters. Food is ok. Drinks are heavy duty...beware. Bartenders are super friendly. Been many times and will keep going back when I feel like singing.

Nice chill bar. Karaoke on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Limited draft selection. But tons of bottle drinks and nice liquor. Awesome people. Very townie, but cozy. They have free wifi and computers you can use if you want. Just don't be a jerk and you'll have a great time!

Clean bar, clean bathrooms, awesome bar food (I had a burger and fries) bartenders are friendly and remember you. This is a townie bar but the patrons are friendly to newcomers. Kareoke night is pretty fun if you're into that. Definitely a fun safe environment.
